I am happy to hear that you have such a positive out-look on life. Keep it up.

Although, take heed, do not let winning the Euro-Millions become the be-all and end-all. This applies to any goal you may have...it is not so much the destination, as the journey it took you to get there, that characterizes and qualifies your life. Simply buying a lottery ticket and becoming a jack-pot winner is like finding a short-cut. There is little to be learnt by taking this route, yet it would leave the winner with so much more potential.

If you were to win, I would hope a fair proportion would be allotted to charitable causes. If so, then I wish you good luck when choosing your Euro-Million numbers.

You are indeed correct...somebody will eventually win. Although, the 1 in 76 million probability is not encouraging.

In the UK each year, you have:

- a 1 in 30 million chance of contracting and dying from the plague;
- a 1 in 11 million chance of being killed in an aircraft;
- a 1 in 10 million chance of being killed by lightning;
- a 1 in 10 million chance of being killed by the leakage of radiation from a nearby power station;
- a 1 in 9.3 million chance of being killed in a terrorist attack;
- a 1 in 3 million chance of dying from food poisoning;
- a 1 in 2 million chance of dying by falling out of bed;

Eating bread does not influence your hair-growth. This is a myth which started over 300 years ago in Europe. People with curly hair were seen as being prosperous and healthy, so were those who ate bread. Eating bread-crusts and having curly hair were then somehow seen as being related. Furthermore, up until the 19th century, it was common practice for underprivileged people to sell their hair to wig-makers. The expression “to sell one’s hair for a crust” may have fuelled this myth. Indeed, the upper echelons of society today are still considered to be the “upper crust”.

It is your genes which determine whether you have straight or curly hair. Only a perm or hair-straighteners will change this. Cancer patients going through Chemotherapy may also notice a change in their hair when it grows back (either being straighter or curlier than before). However, these changes are only temporary.

There are around 76 million different combinations of Euro-Million draws. Each ticket costs £1.50. You would have to spend £114 million be 100% sure of winning the Euro-Millions.

However, if one other person also has a winning ticket you split the winnings. To make your investment of £114 profitable the jack-pot would have to be well over £230 million. If a third person were also to have a winning ticket...you would lose many millions.

Thus, anyone can win the Euro-Millions if they have more than 76 million in the bank. However, there is always the unknown factor of other winners. This is what keeps it a gamble. You can win the Euro-Millions, but have spent more than you have won.

Thank you for your thoughts Angharad.

If you wish to have more vivid and colourful dreams then you must occupy your life with activity, learning, enjoyment with others, and a peaceful home-life.

Try to remember a location that you visited several times before in your dreams. Fix in on that position when you go to sleep, and invent scenerios in your mind from that "base-camp". Each time you go wayward in your thoughts and start to wake-up, re-assemble at the point and start again. You will soon grow tiresome of this and fall asleep.

The purpose of this is to try and go through a dream-like state early-on when falling asleep, so that in the actual dream-state your mind can plug into the base-camp and has recent memory of scenerios springing from it.

This technique is also used to promote lucid-dreaming because, with experience, each time you reach base-camp your mind recognises that you are dreaming and can start to run free in its play-ground...whilst you are still semi-conscious.

If your home life is peaceful and stable, and you get enough rest each night...then you will be more likely to remember these dreams.

Many people wake-up naturally at a particular time of the morning or when there is a certain level of light in the room. If you need an alarm to wake-up, then make sure it has a soft and mellow tone...and wake up slowly.

If you rarely remember your dreams, this would seem to indicate an over-loaded life-style. Sleep has become something that needs to be done before you can do something else.

However, your curiosity has sprung further scenerios which soon will be played out in your dreams.

Please do not conclude from my words that grapes have thinking power...no such suggestion was made.

Your head is filled with thoughts of "life" and "existence"...but you have merged them together so much that you now cannot differentiate between one and the other.

Your existence can be certified, but what you have made of your life is left to question. The answers to what type of person you are, or will be, are not only to be found in your thougths. Your life is also affected by the circumstances you find yourself in, the people around you, and the uncertainty of the future.

My world? The last time I looked I was in the same world as everyone else? Quantum mechanics IS the physical world, but at a quantum or "indivisible" level?? Hence sub atomic "particles" (protons, electrons, neutrons, quarks) in the Quantum world in comparison to tennis balls, footballs and planets of the relativity world.

Both "Quantum" and "Relativity" world use mathematical conveniences, but that is all they are - conveniences that are used to make sense of the incomprehensible.

Admittedly my eyesight is not what it used to be, but I do not wish to put all my eggs into the mathematical basket and allow them to hatch into even more ugly little axioms.

Who's perception is poor? The man that accepts that the universe is one mystery that has yet to be solved, or the man that believes maths has solved an innumerable mystery?

This is a most unusual declaration? You compare human thought and consciousness to wine and grapes, are we to believe that grapes also have thinking power? This is like saying thoughts are made from heads, and so heads are filled with thoughts - which is actually alot closer to my original suggestion, and at least encompasses thought and not grapes as a comparison...
Descartes existed over 450 years ago and it is nothing but wild speculation to presume what he would've regarded as a spoiling of words or ideas.
I cannot see the difference in analogy when you proclaim "I can think, so therefore I exist" to be any different to saying "I am what I think"

Your world is based on immeasurable distances.

What you speak of is Quantum mechanics...something which works on the sub-atomic level. For the physical World, we have conveniences such as metres, miles, parsecs and light-years.

Much of this thought is based at the conscious level. Many people "think" about trying to better their lives. I "think" I want that car, I "think" I want that house, I "think" I want money etc etc - and rightly so, the "thinking" does not always result in the appearance of the goods, therefore rendering the notion "we are what we think" as being slightly mischievous.

However, we don't "think" solely at a conscious level do we - we also think, feel and more importantly "believe" at the sub-conscious level and the two are usually in conflict. Hence we think one thing yet we "attract" something else because that is what we believe to be our true worth.

It is a battle between the Ying and Yang of the minds, and somewhere in between is balance - some people find this balance, others do not.

Ref - Descartes. Is conscious thought not the soul? We think we are... therefore we are. We are what we think.

Of course the "perception" of distance is astronomical - it is infinite in real terms. I ruled out size measured by distance because size cannot be measured in real terms, size is infinite, never ending - immeasurable.
A light year is a point of reference used to measure the time it takes for light to travel the distance between two points - A and B, but these point measurements are only A and B in maths. Maths is numbers.
What is "long", "short" and "far way" - they are perceptions of distance, often defined by maths - and not the reality of infinity.
I agree that anyone can move goal posts thus making it even easier to score spectacular own goals, but isn't that simply cheating?

People live in their own Worlds, and mould their environment around it.

What you think of yourself may not always be what other people think of you.

You do not always get what you want (“think”).

Miserable people attract other miserable people.

People who have been mis-treated may come to expect abuse later-on in their lives.

This “law of attraction” you speak of sounds like people being attracted to a particular life-style; for reasons left to them. Ofcourse, this is a recognised phenomenon...but has nothing concrete...because it is only a statistic.

It is less a “Law”...more a “trend”.

When Descartes said "I think, therefore I am.", he was referring to Existentialistic ideals and the Soul...not to determining life with your thoughts alone.

It is good to have the belief that you are what you think...but do not be complacent. Things can happen which are out of your control and come out-of-the-blue.

You yourself must have experienced countless times when your ideas, beliefs, and foundations were rocked? Do you now think you are immune?

If everything that will happen is written in your mind, then may God’s blessing be with you.
